Big or small, short or tall, young or old, rich or poor, feathered or featherless, there is so much happiness to be found in this world.
And since Monday is the most stressful day of the week for many featherless beings (on account of something called “work”), Pearl figures it is also the perfect day for his weekly tutorial on finding happiness!
One of the least-fun year-end tasks at that place called “the office” is called “year-end closing.” If you’ve ever heard the term “out with the old” – all of it – you have a fairly good idea of what this job entails.
Luckily, there is a way to make even this chore fun. Instead of simply moving and stacking the crispy sheets, why not shred and fling them instead!
There are so many benefits to taking this approach. You get a great workout with all that flinging. The office decor gets a much-needed (not to mention free) facelift. And that grumpy being in the corner office won’t have to worry about confidential documents falling (more like drifting, really) into the wrong hands. In workplace lingo, that is what is called a “win-win.”
What helps you make Mondays feel cheerier? Pearl & his mommy would love to hear your flock’s favorite tips!
