Everyone knows that young beings grow up fast.

And by “grow up” we mean grow out….at least if the young being in question happens to have a shell on her back.

In order to grow up, er, out, you need to eat. A lot. Here, it helps if you are born with a keen gustatory appreciation for everything, whether it is edible or not edible.

It helps even more if you have the jaws of a bona fide Chomposaurus – you never ever EVER get tired of chomping and chomping and chomping.

A bona fide Chomposaurus opens her mighty and tireless jaws to consume the helpless green prey.
The young Chomposaurus is tireless in her dedication to growing up (out) as fast as possible.
Crunching down heartily, the Chomposaurus prepares to send her lunch to a place where the sun don’t shine (but on the plus side, that place is dark and warm and cozy).

  1. Very impressed (and a little scared) of Malti’s dedication to eating! She was so focused on that lettuce I’m surprised it lasted that long. 🐢🐦🐢
