Being a master gourmand isn’t always so glamorous behind the scenes.

You are responsible for every delicacy that comes out of your kitchen, whether you personally happen to prefer the dish or not.

This can also mean having to assess items prepared by enthusiastic culinary students with no discernible aptitude or palate to guide their efforts.

Oh boy. It looks like my large featherless assistant has been in my kitchen again.

I believe this is that dish I specifically requested she not make again.
Bless her heart. Neither her lack of aptitude nor a notable absence of palate seems to dissuade her from attempting to make this dish again and again.
And since it is coming out of my kitchen, everyone will assume I like this dish.
