Day 296: The Pizza Predator

It is a common misunderstanding that only big predators can bring down big prey.

In fact, it is not the size of the predator that matters most, but how fierce that predator is.

I am feeling very fierce today. I think I will just sneak up on this large prey.

So many predators get intimidated by size. But this large prey is actually quite docile and slow-moving.

It is also very tasty.

In fact, sometimes I wonder if it even notices.

It trusts far too much in this hard, crunchy outer defensive wall to keep it safe.

Plus, whichever flock member digs in first automatically claims it.
