Day 184: the Tall Towel Tree

When you are extremely cute and loud and you have feathers, from time to time your Mom might take you to spend a whole day with the Tall Tree and the Small Tree (aka your grandparents, aka the biggest marshmallows for feathers on the planet).

In the Tall Tree and the Small Tree’s house, there is so much to see and do.

There are many new and exotic beings to meet and greet.

And because no part of their house is off-limits (unlike at your house, where your stodgy Mommy tends to be so persnickety about keeping you away from the paint and off the furniture) you just never know what new adventures a day at Grandma and Grandpa’s will bring!

Well my goodness. This white stuff looks like the same stuff that Mom uses to line my cage (and every other surface in our house)!
Well my goodness. This white stuff looks like the same stuff Mom uses at home that I keep shredding up (and she keeps replacing).
I never realized it came from a tree!

This tree is pretty tall, too (although not as tall as my Grandpa, the Tall Tree).

Mom, look! I found a paper towel tree FULL of shreddables!!
