Day 185: Nesting Material

Even before spring arrives in earnest, it is never too early to begin foraging for prime nesting sites and comfy nesting material.

This is especially true if you are male, have feathers, and are very fetching.

Also, because you just never know when you will meet a lady bird, you might want to prepare nests in different areas (like at your own home and also at your Grandma and Grandpa’s house).

Well I'll be! This dog looks just a small version of the other long lazy furred being in our family - but it is NESTING!

I can't help but notice this is prime nesting real estate.
Not to mention that it has excellent taste in nesting sites.

Boy, this is really quite a find! I think I'll designate this as my "alternate nest."

Mom, I've just annexed this nest. Could you please remove the other occupant so I can move in?
Mom, look at this prime nest site I’ve acquired! I’ll tell this other being I’m taking over just as soon as it wakes up from its nap.
