Day 214: A Very Cute Diner

Being born small and grey with fluffy soft feathers means you’ve never known what it is like not to be cute.

In fact, being cute comes so naturally you often don’t even realize how useful it really is!

For instance, when the large featherless being is dining and you happen to spy one of your favorite dishes on her plate, “mashed potatoes,” you can effortlessly reallocate it by applying “cuteness.”

Oh boy! Mashed potatoes - yum!

These are for me, right, Mom?

So tasty - thanks, Mom!
I thought so. Thanks!
Sure you can take my (very cute) picture - it is the least I can do after such a delicious dinner!

  1. Pika did this tonight with my toast, and last night he tried to jump directly into my grilled cheese. He’s the poison tester, you see. And sometimes it takes two or three or ten nibbles to really know for sure whether or not the humans are eating tainted food. 😛

    1. You are lucky to have such a conscientious tester as Pika! Of course grilled cheese must be put to particularly rigorous tests….on account of it being extra delicious.:)
