Day 363: The Waffle Imposter

Living with a large featherless being has its perks.

Nevertheless, you will have to be prepared to put up with some odd cuisine.

For instance, sometimes your large featherless assistant might dine on items that look like they might be waffles (or at least distant relatives of waffles) but aren’t.

Here, you must become very savvy indeed to discern the real waffles from the waffle impostors.

Well hello there. You look like you might be a waffle.

Well hello there. Are you a waffle? Reason I ask – you are brown and covered in that clear crinkly stuff my Grandma wraps my waffles in.

I'll just check and see for myself.

On second thought, I really don't think you are a waffle.

Mom? This dish is not delicious. It isn't very friendly either.

Mom? I have discovered a waffle imposter living in our kitchen. Can you believe it thought I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference?
