Day 364: Tending the Nest

Even after nesting season is technically over, the most successful of manly manbirds knows it doesn’t mean their work is done.

When one nesting season ends, it is already time to begin preparing for the next nesting season!

One thing choosy ladybirds especially look for is a manbird who knows how to keep a clean and tidy nest.

Extra points are given if the occupant can look very fetching and feathery while he is tidying.

Okay, Mom - I'm ready to start. Do you have the camera ready?
