Day 25: Courses 101

All of the suavest solo manly manbirds have a keen appreciation of the fine (dining) arts.

Just look at James Bond – he could sip a martini and savor a steak with the best of ’em!

But where the fine dining experience often falls short is in its presentation.

This is because the key to fine dining is a smooth succession of “courses.”

Ideally, you slowly savor the first course, then your waitress discreetly removes it and as discreetly presents the second, and then the third, and so forth.

Ideally.

Well this dish looks lovely. At least my waitress put it in front of the right diner this time.

I'll just sip and savor - "Bond" connoisseur style.

I guess my waitress has yet to get acquainted with "appetizer plates."

I think I've enjoyed this dish to the fullest.
I think I’ve enjoyed my first course to the fullest….time for course number two.
I'll bet even Bond couldn't solve "the case of the mysterious disappearing waitress."
Hmmm. I’ll bet even Bond couldn’t solve this “case of the mysterious disappearing waitress.”
I can see my second course right here - I guess I'll have to serve myself.

Delicious as always - but yet again, the presentation leaves something to be desired.
Delicious as always – apart from my MIA waitress. She must have been captured by my foes.
Here comes my large featherless so-called waitress now.....lucky for her, a suave solo manly manbird such as myself is not given to "customer complaints."
Aha. Here she comes at last. Lucky for her, “Bond” is not given to “customer complaints.”
