Sometimes when featherless beings wish to sell something, they host what is called an “open house.”
The hope here is, by the end of the event, a buyer will fall in love with the casa and have to have it for their very own.
In the same way, when you are hoping to turn a nest-for-one into a nest-for-two (ideally containing one suave and formerly solo manbird and one fetching and feathery ladybird), it can be a good idea to hold an open nest (house).
This way, the ladybirds can come to take a tour and fall in love with the nest (and its occupant) and move right in!
