One of the best things about holiday meals is something your featherless flock mates call “leftovers.”
For instance, let’s say the Small Chef makes an item you discover you especially enjoy.
She will then pack the rest of those items for you to take home.
The key to success here – especially with new items on the menu – is to clearly communicate which items you enjoy the most during the holiday meal itself, so there will be no later confusion about which items are “your” leftovers.
You can use both verbal and nonverbal communication to accomplish this.
