Thursday Thriller: Presenting Pearl Cutts in “Covert Banana Boat”

Working in “covert ops” is full of, well, hidden dangers.

For instance, you might think you recognize somebody and try to say hello, only to later find out they were working undercover.

In the same way, there is always the danger your own cover could be similarly blown.

Here, it can be very helpful to develop your “acting” skills so you get better at not being you.

On that note, Love & Feathers is proud to present (alleged) covert operative-turned actor Pearl Cutts in his latest one-avian play:

“Covert Banana Boat”

As the curtain parts, the star can be seen seated calmly in the corner of a bright blue vessel. There isn’t much room, as most of the vessel is taken up by a number of other oddly shaped and strangely silent passengers.

Well, yes, I am Pearl Cutts, the famous and feathery actor. No, no relation to Pearl Cutts the famous and feathery "covert operative."
Well, yes, I am Pearl Cutts, the famous and feathery actor. No, no relation at all to Pearl Cutts the famous and feathery “covert operative.”
What is that? You say you are sure I am Pearl Cutts the covert operative?
What is that? You say you are sure I am Pearl Cutts the covert operative?
What about you, Mr. Papaya Head? You want to get in on this little debate? No? Wise choice to say nothing.
What about you, Mr. Papaya Head? You want to get in on this little debate? No? Wise choice to say nothing – too bad your friends aren’t so smart.
What is that, Mr. Banana Boat? Well, come to think of it, you are starting to look pretty familiar yourself.
As for you, Mr. Banana Boat, come to think of it, you are starting to look pretty familiar yourself. How about a little taste test…um, I mean interrogation…to help jog your memory?
Very familiar (and delicious)....
As the interrogation continues……

…the sound of loud clunking footsteps are suddenly heard. A blustery, flustery large featherless being rounds the corner and makes a beeline for the actor. It is the MommyGuard, who whisks the actor away to safety for his contractually required “covert snack break.”

The. End.
