Friday Wet Bird Couture: “The Leafy Seadragon”

There is everything to love about the leafy seadragon.

First of all, it is very leafy (and everyone knows leaves are tender and crispy).

And then, of course, it has the word “dragon” in its name (dragons are renowned for “fierceness”).

But best of all, the leafy seadragon is a master of disguise. To predators, it looks like an innocent leaf.

To its favorite succulent prey (small crustaceans), it also looks like an innocent leaf.

Of course, it takes one master of disguise to accurately capture the unique look of another master of disguise.

Wet Bird Couture is proud to unveil Pearl Cutts modeling “The Leafy Seadragon.”

Here, notice how...
Here, notice how the model adopts the carefully tousled pose of a freshly bathed and innocent feathered being while waiting for his favorite unsuspecting prey (toasted waffles) to draw near….
