One of the great things about having feathers (versus no feathers) is an automatic ability to sense how your time should best be spent.

For instance, let’s say you are out foraging for your lunch, when all of a sudden you spy….prettiness.

Everyone knows that prettiness makes all beings happier.

Ergo, the more prettiness there is in the world, the happier all the beings will be.

This is also why it is so useful to have a large featherless assistant. While they can’t sense prettiness like you can, they are perfectly capable of doing simple tasks like foraging while you are busy uplifting the world.

Well - wow! I spy prettiness!
Oh! Wow! I spy prettiness!
Mom, I'm going to need you to take over the foraging. I must uplift the world right now.
Mom, I’m going to need you to take over foraging for me. I must uplift the world right now.
I can see why everyone loves prettiness so much - I've only just begun admiring it and I already feel much better!
I can see why everyone loves prettiness so much – I’ve only just begun admiring it and I already feel even happier!
Don't you feel better, Mom? Thank goodness prettiness surrounds me wherever I go!
Sure, Mom, you can snap a photo of all this prettiness to uplift my fans.
